Our Story

Founded in 2017 as a family business, Evander Playscapes was launched with strong values at its core by brothers José and Fernando Rico. Their vision was to create spaces that bring communities together. With extensive experience in construction and a passion for enhancing outdoor environments, Evander brings a fresh approach to amenity development that prioritizes quality, safety, and sustainability. More than builders, we are community partners who take pride in making each project a valuable asset for years to come.

Why “Evander”?

Our name, Evander, is inspired by Greek mythology, honoring a figure known for his wisdom, culture, and foundational impact on communities. In myth, Evander brought knowledge, strength, and cultural traditions to early civilizations, fostering unity and growth. We chose this name because it reflects our own mission: to build spaces that connect people, enhance communities, and leave a lasting, positive impact. Just as the legendary Evander laid foundations for future generations, we aim to create enduring, valuable spaces that inspire and bring communities together.
